The Gorakana Residential Facility is a community based service established in May 2008 at Gorakana, Panadura. It is located in a peaceful and tranquil environment overlooking the Bolgoda Lake.
Our services
We provide a short to medium-term residetntial rehabilitation programme for individuals suffering from psychiatric illnesses, psychological disorders and substance abuse problems.
The programme is tailor made to suit individual requirements, taking into account local social and cultural factors.
Patienrts are taught social skills along with responsibility and discipline, making it possible for them to reintegrate into society and pursue employment.
We also provide residential care for elderly patients with mental health problems
