Cheif Administrator - Mr. Jayanth Mudalige

Mr Jayanth Mudalige, a former Warrant Officer of the Sri Lanka Air Force was trained in Sri Lanka, India and Ukraine. He served in the SLAF for 22 years, and was awarded a number of military honours, including the Uththama Seva Padakkama, Wadamarachchi Operation Medal, Poornaboomi medal and the Riviresa Operation Medal. 

His rich knowledge, experience, together with his valuable skills and personnel management techniques and varied exposure gained at the Sri Lanka Air Force and the private sector, make him an efficient administrator, whose contribution is immense and immeasurable in the management of the National Council for Mental Health at Borella and Gorakana.

Head, Department of Rehabilitation - Capt. (Retd) Gamini Subasinghe

Capt. Subasinghe served in the Sri Lanka Army for 33 years. Following his first attachment at the Directorate of the Sri Lanka Army Medical Corps as a Commissioned Officer, Capt. Subasinghe followed a nurses' training course, and has served in the Military Hospital in Colombo as a Staff Officer Grade III. He has also served as an Administrative Officer at the Palaly Base Hospital.

He was awarded a number of military honours including the Uththama Seva Padakkama. He has gained a multitude of experience in military administration and nursing.

Head, Department of Counselling - Mr. Hema Nishantha Withanage

Mr. Hemanishantha Withanage obtained his Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from the University of
Kelaniya, completing his research dissertation titled on the “Efficacy on drama therapy on mental
well being”.
He has been exposed to several training programmes on Psycho-Social Skills Development and
Psychological Counselling conducted by the National Centre for Mental Health. Mr. Withanage, also obtained the membership of the Sri Lanka National Institute of Professional Counsellors (SLNIPC).

Furthermore, Mr. Withanage, successfully completed the Diploma programmes in Peace and
Conflict Process and Mass Media from the University of Colombo.As a Justice of the Peace (All Island), he currently serves as the President of the Bandaragama Mediation Board.
